I maintained that you would be able to draw no better conclusion than both sides had their reactionary elements. Moreover, I think that you would run into numerous problems in trying to actually implement such a test, including the fact that many skeptics comment on mainstream climate blogs and vice versa. (See <a href="http://consultingbyrpm.com/blog/2012/03/climate-wars-bask.html#comment-35097" rel="nofollow">here</a> for a very amusing illustration of what I mean.) Still, I decided to scan through some comments on the pro-AWG blogs that did report on the fake Heartland memo and, sure enough, numerous commentators did urge caution about their authenticity. For some examples, see <a href="http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/badastronomy/2012/02/15/breaking-news-a-look-behind-the-curtain-of-the-heartland-institutes-climate-change-spin/#comment-481741" rel="nofollow">here</a>, <a href="http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/badastronomy/2012/02/15/breaking-news-a-look-behind-the-curtain-of-the-heartland-institutes-climate-change-spin/#comment-481792" rel="nofollow">here</a> and <a href="http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/badastronomy/2012/02/15/breaking-news-a-look-behind-the-curtain-of-the-heartland-institutes-climate-change-spin/#comment-481767" rel="nofollow">here</a> on Phil Plait's thread.Grant McDermotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11868318397832070394noreply@blogger.com
